In this role, you'll conduct professional telephone interviews with life insurance applicants, ensuring accurate and thorough information is collected to support underwriting decisions while delivering a positive customer experience.

Location: Lee's Summit, MO

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Multiple shifts available Monday-Friday, some Saturdays. Final schedule will be assigned.

In this role, you'll serve as a critical link in the process by conducting professional interviews, gathering detailed information, and ensuring data quality while providing excellent service to applicants.

What You'll Do

+ Place outbound calls to life insurance applicants

+ Conduct telephone interviews and collect medical, financial, occupational, and lifestyle history information

+ Leave messages and follow up with applicants as needed

+ Review and edit information during interviews to ensure accuracy and completeness

+ Document call activity, interview details, and outcomes in company systems

+ Utilize call management, dialer, and phone systems to complete interview and outreach activities

+ Learn and follow client-specific interview requirements and underwriting guidelines

+ Respond professionally and promptly to requests from clients, staff, and management

+ Adhere to all compliance, quality, confidentiality, and safety requirements

+ Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs

What We're Looking For

+ A current, up-to-date resume

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Strong verbal communication and customer service skills

+ Comfortable conducting professional telephone interviews and handling outbound calls

+ Excellent listening, documentation, and data-entry skills

+ Ability to manage multiple systems and applications simultaneously

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

+ Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals

+ Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred and required for select openings

+ Ability to meet compliance requirements

+ Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
