Our client, a leading organization in the insurance industry, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the customer service and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Location: Sikeston, MO

Pay Range: 16.00-17.00

Shift: Day 8a-5p

Job Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities

+ Policyholder Support: Respond to inbound calls, emails, and chat inquiries regarding policy coverage, premiums, billing, claims status, and general insurance-related questions.

+ Policy Administration: Process policy updates, including adding or removing drivers, updating addresses, modifying coverage, and issuing insurance documents such as ID cards and proof of insurance.

+ Claims & Resolution Support: Assist customers with claims inquiries, investigate account concerns, resolve billing discrepancies, and provide effective solutions while ensuring a positive customer experience.

+ Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, policy changes, transactions, and claim-related communications in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.

+ Account Retention & Sales Support: Provide policy quotes, assist with renewals, identify coverage needs, and refer customers to licensed insurance agents for complex coverage recommendations or policy upgrades.

Key Requirements

+ Education: High school diploma or GED required.

+ Experience: Previous customer service, administrative, call center, or insurance industry experience preferred.

+ Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly and professionally.

+ Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, policy management software, and Microsoft Office applications.

+ Customer Focus: Ability to handle sensitive customer situations with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
