Safety, quality, productivity and strong work ethic are important to the Toppan culture. Location: Chillicothe, MO Position: Machine Operator Trainee Hours: Night Shift | 7:00 pm - 7:00 am ($2.00 shift differential) Rate: $21.37 - $22.29 based on experience What you'll be doing: â€¢ Responsible for the proper operation of the extrusion/thermoforming line. â€¢ Must have knowledge of plant processing equipment and have an aptitude for problem solving. â€¢ Must be able to properly set-up, start up, operate and shut down all production equipment. â€¢ Will troubleshoot and correct processing problems. â€¢ Record and share information with other team members to maintain quality and machine efficiency. â€¢ Perform quality audits. â€¢ Relieve inspector/packers. â€¢ Coordinate line requirements with other departments (Maintenance, Material Handling, and QA). â€¢ Must be proficient in all paperwork â€¢ Other duties as requested by Supervisor We'd love to hear from you if: â€¢ You have experience as a skilled manufacturing operator â€¢ 2 years of machine operator experience â€¢ 2 years of manufacturing experience â€¢ Ability to read, write, and perform math skills â€¢ You must understand manufacturing and quality control â€¢ You can read, write and perform basis math â€¢ You have data entry skills â€¢ You can perform repetitious duties, including stairs and standing for long periods of time â€¢ You can lift up to 50 lbs. â€¢ You can stand, sit, reach, and bend â€¢ You can push/pull and handle product â€¢ You must be able to work in conditions that may include heat, humidity, and production noise At TOPPAN Packaging Americas, We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support our employees' overall wellbeing.
