St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join the team

Our mission is to improve children's behavioral health and quality of life through evidence-based care. We offer three types of clinical care for children, adolescents and their families. Our faculty members are also involved in research and training activities to advance the quality of children's health care.

Our pediatric neuropsychology services focus on assessing and treating cognitive problems (e.g., learning, memory, reasoning, language, and attention problems) associated with medical conditions impacting the central nervous system. Specialty areas include epilepsy, neuro-oncology, traumatic brain injury/concussion, hematology, childhood stroke, cerebral palsy, movement disorders, solid organ transplant, congenital heart disease, and genetic syndromes. Research endeavors of our neuropsychologists have focused on cognitive, emotional, and behavioral features associated with various medical conditions and treatments. Requirements

+ Must be a Certified Pediatric Psychologist

+ Must have a Pediatric Neuropsychology Fellowship

+ Must have completed a Pediatric Psychology Internship

Role Purpose

Responsible for performing evaluations, assessments, psychotherapy and consultation during the course of treatment for patients and their families. Is an excellent resource to medical staff, educators, etc. in the hospital and outside community.

Responsibilities

+ Acts as a resource and liaison to hospital staff and outside community.

+ Maintains designated targets for chart compliance and report turn around times.

+ Conducts and disseminates research in field of expertise.

+ Provides psychological clinical services to patients and their families.
