Summary
The Custom Applicator is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely application of crop protection products and fertilizers to customer fields. This role operates and maintains application equipment, follows all regulatory and safety requirements, and works closely with sales staff and customers to deliver high-quality agronomy services.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor field work in varying weather conditions
- Seasonal workload with flexible hours during application seasons
- Compensation $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain sprayers and application equipment
- Load, and apply crop protection products according to specifications
- Maintain accurate application and regulatory records
- Follow all safety, environmental, and compliance requirements
- Communicate with customers and team members regarding application plans
- Assist with equipment maintenance and other agronomy tasks as needed

Experience Requirements
- Agricultural or equipment operation experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a commercial pesticide applicator license Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
