* Define end-to-end contracts with backend and API teams so that new data capabilities become reliable, understandable product features.

* Establish best practices for frontend quality across testing, accessibility, performance, observability, feature management, and safe rollout.

* Drive the most ambiguous and high-impact initiatives, creating technical clarity and alignment across engineering, product, design, and Finance stakeholders.

* Partner directly with Finance and Accounting users to translate operational pain points into a clear product and technical roadmap, while mentoring engineers and raising the team's technical bar.

*Required Skills and Experience:*

* 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building and shipping production web applications with React and TypeScript, with fullstack capability across frontend and backend services.

* Demonstrated track record leading ambiguous, cross-functional projects from problem definition through design, implementation, rollout, and iteration.

* Deep frontend architecture expertise including state management, API integration, performance optimization, accessibility, testing, and observability.

* Experience building data-rich operational products, enterprise software, or workflow systems where accuracy and user trust are essential (financial systems, reconciliation, or payments domain experience preferred).
