Summary
Monitor the health status of an individual with disabilities or illness, and address their health-related needs, such as changing bandages, dressing wounds, or administering medication. Work is performed under the direction of offsite or intermittent onsite licensed nursing staff. Provide assistance with routine healthcare tasks or activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, toileting, or ambulation. May also help with tasks such as preparing meals, doing light housekeeping, and doing laundry depending on the patient's abilities.
We offer part time & full time positions. Along with PRN(as needed).
Responsibilities
1. wrap ankles, fingers, wrists, etc. to support muscles or ligaments
2. assist patient in performing breathing exercises
3. practice preventive procedures in medical therapy setting
4. maintain dental or medical records
5. prepare patient reports
6. dispense prescribed medications and pharmaceuticals
7. assist patient in walking or exercising
8. feed patients
9. entertain patients
10. instruct patient in home programs or basic living skills
11. instruct patients in methods to improve functional activities
12. motivate patients to practice exercises
