As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

+ Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help support loss prevention efforts and compliance with site policies.

+ Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
