Job Description

What your day might look like:

+ The Process Engineering intern participates in the mechanical and process design/documentation of water and wastewater treatment systems.

+ You will spend time in production, interviewing operators about their jobs and needs

+ You will take detailed notes and will help develop procedures that will be used for training

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

+ Document the complete regeneration process-procedures, decision points, and best practices

+ Create training materials (manuals, SOPs, visual guides)

+ Conduct initial training sessions with plant staff to validate accuracy

+ Establish foundation for ongoing knowledge management

Qualifications

Our Ideal Candidate

+ Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical discipline.

+ Strong organizational and communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Good technical writing and oral communication skills.

+ Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team and department projects.

+ Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks at hand.

+ Strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail

+ Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures is a plus.
