Dentist (Oral Surgeon)
Summary
Perform corrective and therapeutic procedures on the mouths and jaws of their patients and work in conjunction with other dentists, surgeons, and orthodontists. Perform examination of the teeth, gums, and related tissues, using dental instruments, x-rays, or other diagnostic equipment, to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities, and plan appropriate treatments. Administer anesthetics to limit the amount of pain experienced by patients during procedures
Requirements:
Requires Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.), Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.D.M.) or foreign educational equivalent. Must have valid Dentistry License/Eligibility in the State of Missouri.
