React Native developer

About the role

As a Lead React Native developer , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable mobile and web applications across both front-end and back-end technologies. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, technical leaders, product owners, and cross-functional development teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

In this role, you will:

+ Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React Native, TypeScript, Redux, GraphQL, and REST APIs .

+ Build scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile and backend solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

+ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across multiple environments.

+ Collaborate with architects and technical leadership to design and implement enterprise-grade software solutions.

+ Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams while promoting engineering best practices and quality standards.

Work model (Remote)

What you need to have to be considered

+ 8+ years of software development experience with full-stack application development.

+ Strong hands-on experience developing mobile applications using React Native .

+ Exposure with .NET APIs and backend services.

+ Proficiency with TypeScript, Redux, GraphQL, and REST APIs .

+ Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions using OpenTelemetry .

+ Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed application environments.

+ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

+ Excellent communication and technical mentoring skills.

These will help you stand out

+ Experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications.

+ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

+ Experience with microservices-based architectures.

+ Familiarity with performance optimization and application monitoring best practices.

+ Experience leading technical discussions and influencing engineering decisions.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 , depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance and applicable plan terms.
