Day to Day
Indeed Flex is a marketplace transforming how people find and access flexible work. As a Director of Product Management, you will drive the strategy and execution for a portfolio of products dedicated to accelerating the Flexer supply journey. In this role, you will lead the Supply service group, owning the jobseeker experience within the Indeed Flex ecosystem to drive compounding, measurable improvements in user acquisition, activation, and retention of Flexers. This scope is specifically focused on Indeed Flex's worker supply.
You are accountable for cost per hire and for how US worker acquisition spend is allocated. You decide where the money goes and what gets traded off, working with performance marketing and the recruiting team, who handle day-to-day campaign execution.
You will operate as a true Player/Coach, comfortably managing approximately 4 PMs and UX Designers while remaining deeply hands-on. You will set a clear product growth vision and guide long-term strategy while directly executing IC-level growth work, including SEM optimization, referral programs and other supply-growth experiments. You will foster a culture of ownership and deliver meaningful outcomes for Flexers and the business.
You will work closely with partners across engineering, design, data science, marketing, and business teams to identify opportunities, optimize our acquisition strategy, translate insights into product direction, and bring new ideas to market. Your leadership will help ensure teams move quickly, champion a high-velocity experimentation culture, make informed decisions using data and research, and deliver products that improve how people find jobs and connect with opportunity.
Responsibilities
+ Define and drive product vision and long-term strategy for a portfolio of consumer growth products, establishing a comprehensive product growth roadmap.
+ Oversee, mentor, and grow a team of product managers within the Supply service group while fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and accountability.
+ Build and prioritize product roadmaps using data, user research, and business goals to optimize user journeys and scale global user acquisition funnels.
+ Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and performance marketing teams to deliver high-quality products, features, and cross-channel growth initiatives (including SEM and paid acquisition channels) at scale.
+ Establish success metrics and use data and continuous experimentation (including rigorous A/B testing) to guide product decisions and measure impact on top-line growth KPIs.
+ Build alignment across teams and leaders to support product strategy, growth vision, and execution, presenting results and strategy clearly to executive audiences.
Skills/Competencies
+ Requires a minimum of 17 years of related experience; or a minimum of 15 years with a Bachelor's degree; or 12 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience.
+ AI builder: has built AI agents that optimize and scale acquisition, and is comfortable using AI to prototype, test, automate, and make product decisions in days, not weeks or months.
+ Scrappy and results-driven: willing to use practical/hacky solutions to drive results quickly; very comfortable adopting and scaling on top of a platform built by another team rather than needing to own the platform build.
+ Paid Search Depth: Deep hands-on SEM experience. You can explain account and keyword architecture, bidding strategy, and the structural decisions you made and why.
+ Domain Expertise: Deep experience in consumer growth, marketplace dynamics, and user acquisition, with a clear view of blended paid versus organic economics.
+ Data & Analytics Rigor: Deep analytical mindset with a proven background using self-service analytics tooling and languages (e.g., SQL and/or Python) to drive decisions.
+ Spend Accountability: Has been accountable for, or directly in the decision on, an acquisition budget. Knows the cost metric the program was judged on and can reason concretely about allocation trade-offs.
+ Product Behind the Click: Has specified the product work that moves paid acquisition performance, not just the campaign levers: landing pages, tracking and attribution, feeds, and instrumentation.
