We're seeking an experienced phlebotomist who is confident working with patients of all ages and dedicated to providing an exceptional patient experience.

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.05 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday; shift may be 7:30 AM-4:30 PM or 8:30 AM-5:30 PM based on business needs. Rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM-12:00 PM if hired permanently.

What You'll Do

+ Perform venipuncture, capillary collections, and specimen processing following established procedures

+ Collect high-quality blood specimens from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

+ Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate specimen labeling and documentation

+ Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain required records

+ Explain collection procedures and create a comfortable, professional experience for patients

+ Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed

+ Maintain compliance with safety, quality, confidentiality, and company standards

+ Travel to and support multiple patient service locations as business needs require

What We're Looking For

+ A current, up-to-date resume

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

+ Strong specimen collection and processing skills

+ Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

+ Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

+ Phlebotomy certification preferred

+ Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

+ Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varying schedules, weekends, and overtime as needed

+ Keyboard and data entry experience

+ Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

+ Ability to meet compliance requirements

+ Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
