This position would be a social work position for our Adult Psychiatric Services portion of the facility. Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is operated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, and provides adult inpatient mental health services and sex offender rehabilitation services. Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center is a 348 bed Joint Commission accredited long term care psychiatric hospital that complies with the requirements of The Joint Commission (TJC) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach within which the social workers plays a key roles. All treatment approaches are evidence based.
