Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage staff of licensed engineers, architects, and landscape architects, managing all things personnel related ranging from work schedules and training, to project assignments, to performance expectations.
- Coordinate with OA FMDC on contracted design projects, ensuring all objectives are met.
- Review and evaluate design specifications to ensure accurate reflection of division direction and compliance, as well as determining need for various permits/clearances.
- Provide support and expertise to division leadership by making recommendations when design options are presented, and providing detailed examples of strengths and weaknesses of each option.
- Provide technical guidance to others when needed.
- Review and facilitate project creation and budget placement for division capital improvement cycles.
