Job Description

This hybrid Customer Service Representative role supports customer-facing teams in delivering prompt, convenient, and professional service to business clients. You will assist with resolving intermediate technical issues, conduct product training, manage back-end processes such as invoicing and data requests, and proactively oversee the order process. The position requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to quickly absorb product knowledge and apply it to client needs.

Responsibilities

+ Assist customer-facing teams in delivering prompt, convenient, and professional customer service to assigned business clients.

+ Resolve intermediate technical issues and perform troubleshooting to address customer concerns.

+ Conduct intermediate product training sessions for customers, clearly explaining features and benefits.

+ Monitor and analyze customer usage patterns to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues.

+ Document recurring customer feedback and communicate insights to the internal team.

+ Collaborate closely with sales and support teams to address customer issues and ensure a seamless client experience.

+ Identify and escalate critical customer issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

+ Recommend product or service improvements based on customer feedback and usage data.

+ Assist with back-end tasks such as invoicing, sending data requests, and following up with clients.

+ Proactively manage the order process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.

+ Use CRM and other customer support software to track interactions, maintain records, and support operational workflows.

+ Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to prepare documentation, reports, and communications.

Essential Skills

+ Associates Degree or higher.

+ At least 1 year of experience in customer service.

+ Business-to-business (B2B) client or customer service experience highly preferred.

+ Advanced verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.

+ Customer relationship management skills to manage, nurture, and retain client relationships.

+ Analytical skills to use basic data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.

+ Intermediate problem-solving skills for resolving customer issues and technical questions.

+ In-depth understanding of product features and benefits, with the ability to absorb product knowledge quickly.

+ Ability to convey information effectively during training sessions with customers.

+ Basic project management skills to handle varied tasks and manage priorities.

+ Intermediate proficiency with CRM systems and other customer support software.

+ Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Additional Skills and Qualifications

+ Experience supporting customer-facing teams in a professional services or technology-driven environment.

+ Demonstrated ability to process information quickly and apply it to diverse client needs.

+ Comfort working with operational processes such as invoicing, data requests, and order management.

+ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales and support.

+ Attention to detail in documenting customer interactions and feedback.

+ Adaptability in a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office and remote responsibilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
