Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center currently has a 348-bed capacity, and offers forensic/long term services within a long term care psychiatric hospital. This is a licensed position that performs professional medical care of assigned patients and may specialize in one or a combination of medical fields including primary care, acute care, internal medicine, and geriatrics.

This is a licensed position that performs professional medical care of assigned patients and may specialize in one or a combination of medical fields including primary care, acute care, internal medicine, geriatrics, and/or forensics.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

In addition to those identified in the previous level: Knowledge of the principles and practices of general and/or specialized medicine, and methods and processes utilized in diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases. Ability to analyze and evaluate the practices, techniques, and treatment procedures employed in a particular medical specialty for effectiveness.
