_Provide technical health economics expertise at affiliate level by identifying solutions and defining projects to inform and optimize pricing, reimbursement and market access; act as Senior Technical Lead for assigned health economics and other projects; mentor junior health economists;_ _contribute to the further development of health economics solutions, client service and commercial success._

_Responsibilities_

_Technical and strategic leadership_

+ _Act as a technical and strategic expert in matters related to health economics, e.g. global economic modelling, data analysis and local HTA submissions._

+ _Act as strategic lead, ensuring the strategic direction of the project and working closely with the project lead, modelling lead and client to determine suitable approaches._

+ _Contribute to thought leadership through developing and sharing perspectives, advancing methodological discussions, and contributing to publications and conferences_

_Project leadership and quality assurance_

+ _Lead projects and programs of work, including acting as primary client contact when required._

+ _Ensure high quality of all client deliverables._

+ _Oversee the development of economic models and associated materials, submission dossiers, data analysis plans and reports, research abstracts, posters and manuscripts._

_People management and team development_

+ _Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among the team that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity, as well as cohesiveness, support and working effectively together to enable success._

+ _Supervise and mentor a strong, proactive team. This includes assisting with hiring and training staff as required._

+ _Support the learning and development of the team through formal and on-the-job training, advice and coaching._

+ _Ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures._

+ _Ensure employees meet organizational expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement and goal accomplishment._

_Operational and financial management_

+ _Responsible for a health economics sales target and assist as needed with the operating budget and financial responsibilities and activities of the department._

+ _Assist with planning and allocating resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work and meet utilization goals._

+ _Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance speed, quality, efficiency and output._

_Business development and external visibility_

+ _Contribute to business development through appropriate activities, including:_

+ _Writing, costing and quality checking proposals._

+ _Marketing outreach activities such as blog writing, seminar preparation and delivery._

+ _Preparing submissions for and attending relevant conferences as required._

+ _Master's degree in health economics, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, data science, pharmacology, biochemistry, or other relevant STEM field_

+ _MBA, MD or PhD highly desirable_

+ _Management consulting background_

+ _8+ years of relevant global/United States HEOR/health economics experience, including significant experience within a pharmaceutical/biotech consultancy, pharmaceutical company, HTA agency, or similar environment_

+ _An in-depth understanding of health economic models, technical methods and key HTA body requirements_ _,_

+ _Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills_

+ _Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills_

+ _Influencing skills_

+ _Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload with_ _a high degree of attention to detail_
