It's possible with a role at Linx Printing Technologies ( www.linxglobal.com )
Linx, a Veralto company, is a leading global provider of coding and marking solutions for date and batch coding of products and packaging across manufacturing industries. As part of the Linx team and the broader Veralto network, you'll work with products that make an everyday impact on the food, medicine, and essentials we all rely on, and along the way, you'll have the chance to make your mark and own your ambition with valuable career growth opportunities.
The Corporate Account Manager is based in the USA and owns the strategic development and commercial performance of one key US distributor account, with responsibility for sustainable growth across equipment and after-sales. The role translates US market opportunities into a clear account strategy and joint business plan, aligns distributor leadership around shared priorities, and drives delivery through field engagement and cross-functional collaboration. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, the Corporate Account Manager builds seller capability, strengthens senior relationships and takes ownership of agreed revenue goals, growth initiatives and account performance.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
+ Own a strategic account plan and annual joint business plan with the assigned US distributor, defining priority customer segments, geographic opportunities, equipment and after-sales growth initiatives, agreed targets, milestones and responsibilities.
+ Assess customer needs, competitor activity, distributor coverage and installed-base opportunities to prioritise sustainable growth. Build clear business cases for commercial initiatives and recommend where to focus seller effort and investment.
+ Lead regular strategic and quarterly business reviews with distributor leadership and relevant Linx stakeholders, tracking revenue, funnel health, forecast accuracy and initiative delivery against the agreed plan. Own follow-through on corrective actions and escalate risks requiring leadership decisions.
+ Coordinate sales, marketing, product and service stakeholders to deliver the account plan, strengthen customer retention and expand after-sales opportunities. Recommend pricing and promotional actions within agreed commercial guardrails, balancing growth with profitability and long-term account value.
+ Work alongside distributor field sellers to develop opportunities, improve conversion and grow total business revenue across equipment, consumables, parts, service and other after-sales solutions.
+ Coach distributor sellers in practical sales skills, tactics and value selling, enabling them to articulate customer value, improve conversion and grow revenue across the full portfolio.
+ Implement a disciplined funnel-management process with distributor sellers and managers, improving opportunity quality, visibility, prioritisation, progression and forecast accuracy.
+ Use customer visits, joint selling and other gemba evidence to identify root causes, priorities and repeatable growth opportunities.
+ Translate field evidence into clear recommendations and influence senior distributor stakeholders to sponsor initiatives, remove barriers and drive change.
+ Deploy global-led commercial initiatives and develop targeted local initiatives with the assigned distributor, maintaining focus on agreed priorities, tracking commercial impact and building momentum through visible wins.
+ Spend 50-75% of working time in the field supporting the assigned key distributor account across the USA, including regular overnight travel. The role offers flexibility to plan travel around customer opportunities, seller coaching needs and business priorities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Willingness and ability to travel 50-75% across the USA to support the assigned key distributor account, including overnight stays.
+ Proven track record of sales success within coding and marking or a closely related industrial technology sector; direct CIJ selling experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrates a winning mentality, resilience and personal ownership of results.
+ Demonstrated experience working with distributors, channel partners or multi-tier sales organisations.
+ Track record of coaching field sellers and converting sales activity into measurable funnel and revenue growth.
+ Experience using customer, market and funnel evidence to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercial change.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and own strategic account plans and joint business plans, turning market insight into prioritised initiatives, measurable objectives and sustained commercial results.
+ Strong commercial judgement, including the ability to assess revenue and profitability opportunities, build business cases and coordinate cross-functional delivery. Confident leading senior-level business reviews, securing alignment and driving agreed actions without direct authority.
Our culture is anchored in a strong set of values. We are focused on making a meaningful impact, taking ownership of outcomes and fostering a constructive, respectful environment free from toxic behaviours.
