Assembler Jon Boat JR-051148
Summary
As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as an Assembler, you will assemble aluminum boats and / or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at bench, or in a boat, or on shop floor.
Responsibilities
-
Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.

Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners. Using jigs, and gluing.

Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce close fit between parts.

Operates drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.

Installs seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.

Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.

Other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements
Required Qualifications:
-
Self starter, team player with a good safety awareness
-
Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift
Preferred Qualifications:
-
High School diploma or GED preferred
-
Previous experience in boat assembly preferred
-
May be required to work in a non-air conditioned area
-
Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs
-
Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis.
-
PPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves
