Duties may include: Duties include but are not limited to the following: Grain cleaning and snow removal. Examine equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions. Dismantle defective machines for repair. Repair or replace defective parts. Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments, as necessary. Clean and lubricate parts. Test and replace electrical components. Tune or overhaul engines. Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance. This job is spent primarily in the shop. Test mechanical equipment to ensure proper functioning & other related Farm Equipment Mechanic activities as per SOC/OES 49-3041 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C. Employer guarantees to offer employment for a minimum of 3/4 of the workdays of the total specified period beginning with the workers first day, free housing provided to workers recruited from beyond the commuting area, transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract or earlier.

The following deductions that are mandatory will be made from each paycheck: All applicable Federal and State taxes that are required to be deducted from U.S. workers and/or foreign workers. Federal Income Tax Withholding will only be deducted from H-2A employee's paycheck with the consent of both the employee and the employer. In the case that an H-2A employee does not provide a Social Security Number or an IRS issued Individual Taxpayer Identification Number AND the total annual wages for the employee are over $600, the employer must deduct backup withholding of 24% from each paycheck. Depending on housing location, worker may have a kitchen available for use. In that case, The employer will furnish cooking facilities, utilities, and utensils for workers to prepare their own meals in the housing provided kitchen. Included basic appliances will consist of, but is not limited to, refrigerator, stove/oven, and sink with hot and cold-water connections. All appliances included will be in good, working condition for the workers. Employer will provide transportation to grocery store at least once a week for workers who wish to shop for food. Otherwise, 3 meals per day will be provided to those workers who do not have access to free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities (all workers who are residing in public accommodations). All meals will include a daily source of protein, vitamins, and minerals.
