Job Title: Principal Software Engineer (O’Fallon, MO)
Position Duties: Hands-on developer who writes high quality, secure code that is modular, functional and testable. Drive architectural design, including dependent services, service interactions and policies. Create or introduce, test, and deploy disruptive technology to optimize existing services and/or create new market opportunities. Design and build technical roadmaps to optimize services and functions with a focus on performance and cost/benefit optimization. Contribute to all parts of the software’s development including design, development, documentation, and testing.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, System Test Engineer, Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or related. Qualifying experience must include at least 5 years of experience with each of the following: Java; Agile Environment; Cloud Technologies (Iaas, Paas, serverless technology, NoSQL databases); Microservice design; CI/CD; DevOps; Spring Boot; Spring Cloud; Oracle/Postgres/MySQL; Design Principles; Software Architecture and Solution Feasibility Analysis. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
