Additional Information About the Role
BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Mammography Technologist - RT (R) for the Gary C Werths Bldg (GCW) in the Siteman Cancer Center (SCC) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
$5,000 Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates!!!
Position Details:
+ _Day Shift Hours:_ 5 days per week at 8 hour rotating shifts which could be (7am-3:30pm), (7:15am-3:45pm), or (8am-4:30pm) _with two Saturdays a year -_ All staff rotates between these shifts & breast centers
+ _Location: Rotates between Siteman Cancer Center in the GCW Building & Center for Advanced medicine Building with the option to also rotate to our South County, Highlands Screening Center , or the Mammography Van_
+ Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms, with the ability to learn additional responsibilities of Localizations, and stereotactic and Contrast Enhanced (CEM) biopsies.
+ _RT (M) Certification - preferred but not required_
+ _Willing to Train for Mammography (M)!!!_
+ Mammography Technologist, Mammographer, Mammo Tech

+ _Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency_

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
