Travel required - includes overnight travel.

Strategic Sales Account Manager: What You'll Do

Internally, we call this role Client Relations Representative. The job comes down to three things: own it, keep it and grow it.

Own it

+ Own every new client the moment onboarding ends, with no gap in partnership.

+ Build relationships from the C-suite down, so the account relies on Paycom and not on any single contact.

Keep it

+ Drive retention and adoption. More adoption means more ROI, and more ROI means renewals.

+ Meet clients face-to-face every week. Spot risks, solve problems, review adoption and set next steps.

Grow it

+ Hit sales quota, then beat it, by finding new needs in every account you own.

+ Turn every business review into a buying moment: hard data, proven ROI, a clear ask.

+ Outsell the competition. Know their pitch, counter it and keep your accounts yours.

Qualifications

Required

+ Bachelor's degree

+ Authorization to work in the United States. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Preferred

+ Strategic sales and closing experience, especially in account management or expansion

+ A documented record of exceeding goals in a competitive environment

+ The ability to influence executives with facts and analysis

+ Sound judgment under pressure and the ability to resolve conflict

+ A self-directed working style: you set the plan, manage your own time and follow through

+ Clear, direct communication in writing, by phone and in person

This position has a salary of $95,000 per annum, with an uncapped commission plan.
