Job Summary

SENIOR DIRECTOR OF FOOD AND NUTRITION

Charleston, SC | $90,000-$100,000 | Relocation Assistance Available

Bring your leadership experience to Morrison Healthcare and make an impact on the dining experience for patients, guests and hospital staff in Charleston.

We're looking for candidates who have led contract foodservice operations at the Director level or served as a Director of Food and Nutrition within a hospital. If you know how to build a strong team, deliver quality food and earn a client's trust, we want to hear from you.

As Senior Director of Dining Services, you'll lead daily foodservice operations, manage financial performance and develop your team. You'll be a visible, hands-on leader who sets clear expectations and keeps service moving forward.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Lead daily foodservice operations with a focus on food quality, service and patient satisfaction.

+ Manage budgets, purchasing, inventory and food costs to meet financial goals.

+ Build strong relationships with hospital leadership and departments.

+ Hire, coach and develop a team that takes pride in its work.

+ Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation and equipment maintenance.

+ Identify opportunities to improve operations and deliver greater value to the client.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

+ Director-level experience in contract foodservice or hospital Food and Nutrition Services.

+ At least five years of proven leadership experience.

+ Two to four years of direct foodservice operations management, including purchasing and inventory control.

+ Experience managing budgets and P&L performance.

+ Strong knowledge of food production, catering, sanitation and cost controls.

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional experience.

+ ServSafe certification preferred.

+ A proactive, approachable leadership style with strong communication and team-building skills.
