In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, going to hospital to perform software upgrade for automated medication dispensing devices.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform installation, configuration, and updates for medical devices, software, and networking systems.

+ Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.

+ Troubleshoot device and network issues, resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.

+ Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment

+ Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.

+ Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.

Requirements:

+ Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments.

+ Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or a related field preferred.

+ 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.

+ Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.

+ Must maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors.

Assignments and Shifts

+ Assignment based position requiring open availability Monday-Friday; work occurs 28-32 hours per week, plus travel time.

+ Position requires some nights and weekends based on customer needs.

+ Travel is regional, national, and local, with work scheduled during weekdays.

+ Duties may require compliance with hospital vaccine and credentialing requirements.

The potential base pay range for this role is $30-32 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
