Job Description

Insight Global's client is seeking a Remote DME Biller with strong Missouri Medicaid / MO HealthNet experience to serve as a key billing resource within their department.

This individual will primarily focus on DME billing, resolving unpaid and underpaid claims, working outstanding AR, and helping improve overall collections. The ideal candidate has strong Missouri DME billing experience and can independently identify why claims are not being paid and determine the appropriate steps to resolve billing issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage DME billing with a primary focus on Missouri Medicaid / MO HealthNet
- Research and resolve unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims
- Work outstanding and aged AR to improve collections
- Handle billing across Missouri Medicaid and applicable commercial insurance payers
- Support billing for DME categories including incontinence and nutrition products
- Identify billing issues and determine appropriate solutions to get claims paid
- Work collaboratively with the existing billing team
- Utilize Brightree for billing operations

Location: Remote - Missouri
Compensation: Approximately $23-$25/hour depending on qualifications and experience

Schedule:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Remote
- Flexible daytime schedule
- 8 working hours required per day with flexibility around start and end times

Skills and Requirements

- 3+ years of DME billing experience; 5+ years strongly preferred
- Strong Missouri Medicaid / MO HealthNet billing experience
- Experience working unpaid or underpaid DME claims and resolving billing/payment issues
- Experience working aged accounts receivable (AR) and driving collections
- Knowledge of Missouri Medicaid programs and managed care plans
- Ability to take ownership of billing issues and work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience billing incontinence and nutrition DME products
- Experience with Home State Health, Show Me Healthy Kids, Healthy Blue, and associated Missouri waiver programs
- Commercial insurance billing experience, including BCBS of Kansas City, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Cigna
- Brightree experience
