As an Industrial Painter, you’ll prepare and coat parts and equipment in a manufacturing environment, helping deliver clean, consistent finishes. You’ll use spray equipment and hand tools, follow production documents, and work safely with coatings and materials. Your impact: Careful preparation and quality checks help production teams deliver finished products that meet established quality standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces using construction painting surface preparation methods, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
Apply coatings using conventional spraying, painting and coating spray guns.
Inspect finishes for coverage, defects, and color match using visual color comparison.
Interpret production documents, perform basic math, and use precision measuring instruments to verify work.
Handle materials and use hand tools; support assembly, machining, and warehouse tasks as needed while following safety protocols.

Experience Requirements

Experience in industrial painting, production finishing, manufacturing, construction painting, or auto painting is helpful; related experience is welcome.
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with quality standards in production are preferred.
Forklift or materials-handling and warehouse experience are useful.
Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, including proper PPE use and adherence. Use a respirator and follow respiratory protection procedures when required.
Ability to learn coating processes, work carefully with production equipment, and maintain a safe, organized work area.
