We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to support a busy pediatric healthcare organization. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments, patient registration, insurance verification, referral processing, and answering billing-related questions while providing exceptional service to patients and families. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.

Qualifications

+ High-volume inbound/outbound call experience (65 to 80 calls per day).

+ Patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare customer service experience.

+ Insurance verification and referral processing experience.

+ Knowledge of medical billing practices and financial assistance programs.

+ Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

+ Experience working with electronic scheduling systems and patient reminder platforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO 63141.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
