+ Schedule: Monday to Friday

+ Hours: 7:00 - 3:30pm

+ Call: Approximately 1 night per week, and every 5 th -8 th weekend, one to two holidays per year.

+ Duties: scrub cases; help with daily/weekly/monthly duties along with the team as teamwork is key.

+ Specialties Offered: covering general, ortho, ENT, plastics, urology, gyn, neuro/ neuro spine, vascular

+ *$12,500 Sign on Bonus*

_Northwest HealthCare_ , six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

The Surgical Services Department performs emergency, trauma, elective, in-patient, out-patient, and ambulatory/same day surgery. ASD also does pre-and post-procedure assessment and recovery of special procedures patients, and pre-procedure assessment of cardiac cath lab patients. Specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, GU, GYN, thoracic, ophthalmic, vascular, plastic, neuro, dental, ENT, endoscopic, cardiovascular, and podiatry.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

+ Prepares operating room for surgical patient, reviews preference cards to determine surgeon needs, obtains the necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, ensures cleanliness of room, and assists with opening sterile supplies.

+ Performs surgical scrub duties, and assists with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.

+ Assists in turning over of room, and ensures supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to proper location.

Minimum Requirements

Education

+ High School Diploma or GED

Experience

+ <2 years or military equivalent experience

Supervisor Experience

+ No Experience
