Summary
Edging Strip and Stacker-
Must be dependable and willing to work in all conditions. Some heavy lifting required. Zero drug tolerance.
Shift- Monday-Thursday (7:00am-3:00pm), Friday (7:00am-12:00pm)
36 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving cut or processed lumber from the production line, removing defects, and organixiing the boards neatly for drying, storage, or shipping. This role is vital to keeping the mill's output flowing smoothy and preventing bottlenecks or jams in the stacking and packaging systems
- Stack lumber evenly into clean bundles or onto pallets
- Pull and sort lumber by size, ength, thickness, grade, and species as it comes off the conveyor
- Insert wooden strips or stickers between layers of lumber during stacking to allow proper airflow and drying
- Inspect boards for defects, rot, splits, or machine damage, and pull out or trim unusable pieces
- Assist with strapping, banding, wrapping, and tagging finished lumber packs for inventory or transport

Experience Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift heavy boards repeatedly throughout a long shift
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, industrial sawmill environment that can be hot, cold, dusty and loud
