Job Title: Warehouse Worker | pay range: $20-21

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker operates material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials throughout a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures efficient and accurate transport of goods across the facility and supports smooth inbound and outbound truck operations on a first or overnight shift with a 4-on, 4-off schedule.

Key Responsibilities

+ Operate sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.

+ Move materials and products throughout the warehouse.

+ Load outbound trucks according to shipping schedules.

+ Unload inbound trucks and stage materials in designated areas.

+ Use RF scanners to track inventory and warehouse transactions.

+ Follow inventory control and warehouse procedures.

+ Support shipping, receiving, and material handling operations.

+ Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

+ Work with team members to meet productivity goals.

+ Follow all safety policies and operating procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

+ Experience operating a sit-down forklift.

+ Material handling experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

+ Experience loading and unloading trucks.

+ Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

+ Strong attention to safety and warehouse procedures.

+ Ability to stand, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.

+ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience operating other material handling equipment.

+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

+ Warehouse inventory management experience.

+ Strong teamwork and communication skills.

+ Flexibility to work first or overnight shifts.

+ Fast-paced warehouse environment.

+ Daily use of:

+ Sit-down forklifts

+ Frequent loading, unloading, and movement of materials.

This is a Contract position based out of St. Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
