As a Security Officer Hospital in Independence, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related needs. What You'll Do:
+ Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
+ Respond to incidents, critical situations, and patient or visitor concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
+ Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
+ Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
+ Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
+ Be able to restrain individuals.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
