Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support production equipment and facility operations for one of our clients at its Lee's Summit, Missouri location. This person will focus heavily on electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of industrial manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with electrical controls, motors, wiring, switchgear, transformers, and other industrial electrical systems while also being comfortable troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic controls.

Skills and Requirements

-Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
-Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
-Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and drawings.
-Hands-on experience with industrial electrical components, including motors, wiring, switchgear, and transformers.
-Experience using electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot voltage, current, resistance, and continuity.
Experience performing both preventative maintenance and breakdown/reactive repairs.
-Associate degree in an electrical-related field.
-Experience with Siemens automation, particularly TIA Portal.
-Industrial instrumentation and calibration experience.
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
