Position Purpose: The Principal Incident Response Analyst serves as an Incident Commander for activities requiring the issuance of Centene's enterprise-wide Incident Response Plan.

+ Leading and coordinating incident response efforts across multiple business units.

+ Recommending process enhancements based on after-action reports, incidents, and investigations.

+ Keeping abreast of security breaches and ensuring timely initiation of incident and response management processes.

+ Collaborating with Information Security Architects, Engineers, and software/hardware stakeholders.

+ Integrating third-party attack monitoring and threat reporting services into internal CIRT (Cyber Incident Response Team) communications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Command and coordinate large-scale cyber incidents.

+ Communicate regularly with leadership from multiple departments.

+ Maintain situational awareness of emerging threats.

+ Work with internal and external security partners to contain, investigate, and remediate incidents.

+ Ensure compliance with all security policies and standards.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and requires deep functional and Centene specific knowledge with 6 - 8 years of related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:

+ Knowledge of threat actor tools, techniques, and processes (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).

+ Experience with endpoint protection and enterprise detection & response platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, etc).

+ Understanding of network and infrastructure technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).

+ Experience with cloud infrastructure and security best practices, and Cloud Detection & Response technology.

Pay Range: $121,500.00 - $224,900.00 per year
