Freshly Printed: The Role You Have Been Looking For
As a Press Helper you will assist the Operator in all duties required for the operation of the offset press, to include assurance of quality of printed image and accurate registration. The Press Helper must independently read job tickets to understand specifications and consistently ensure plates and paper are staged for the next job.
From Set up to Finish: Your Role in the Process
- Independently read and understand job tickets
- Identify correct weight, brand, and finish of paper
- Hang proper plates according to job ticket
- Maintain clean press and work area
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot roll and skid feeders
- Enter time, materials, and costs into computer system
The Fine Print: What you need to Succeed
- Must be quality minded and pay attention to detail
- Must be able to read and understand a job ticket
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Must have strong attendance and good work ethic
- Ability to work overtime when necessary
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Mathematical skills necessary to compute percentages, weights, and measurements
- Strong communication skills
Your Production Schedule:
- Night Shift 8:00pm - 6:00am Monday - Thursday
- Overtime available
