Job Description
The Opportunity: Saint Luke's East Hospital is seeking an OB Technologist to assist in the delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention, providing a safe environment in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Position Details:
+ Shift: Full-time-7 a.m. to 7 p.m., 3 shifts per week.
+ 4 weekend days per 6 week schedule period.
Responsibilities:
+ OB Technician within the organizational structure of the Labor and Delivery area assists in delivery of care to the patient experiencing surgical intervention.
+ Primary function is to assist with surgical procedures.
+ The OB Tech provides patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
+ The OB Tech individualizes and modifies care according to the patients needs.
+ The OB Tech collaborates with other health care team members to enhance the provision of patient care.
+ The OB Tech assumes a multiskilled role performing clinical and clerical functions that serves as an integral member of the primary patient care team.
Experience:
+ Childbirth & Surgical procedure experience preferred
