This full-time, temp-to-hire position plays an important role in preparing aluminum boats and components for the painting process. Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift
Friday through Sunday: 5:00am-5:00pm
Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours

Responsibilities
- Prepare aluminum boats and components for painting by sanding, grinding, masking, and performing other surface preparation tasks
- Follow work instructions and production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
- Mask boats and parts according to specifications to ensure a quality finish
- Inspect work to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards
- Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Safely operate hand tools, air tools, and other equipment as assigned
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment to meet production goals
- Assist in other areas of production as needed
- Work overtime when required to support production demands
Experience Requirements
- Ability to read and use a tape measure and other basic measuring devices
- Experience using air tools, including grinders, sanders, drills, and spray equipment
- Basic assembly knowledge and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds as needed
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with temperatures that may exceed 100ยฐF
- Ability to safely enter and exit boats during the production process
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
