And our work depends on TS/SCI level cleared Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer joining our team to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St Louis, MO.

Job Description Summary:

Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintain agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad of application stacks and data services

.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

+ O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments

+ Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps

+ Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online

+ Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them

+ Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions

+ Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack

+ Compile detailed documentation

Education/Experience:

+ Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Can sponsor for a polygraph.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

+ 5+ years Developer experience

+ Meet 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA

+ 100% onsite

Desired Skills:

+ Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment

+ Experience with Amazon Web Services

+ Python, Shell scripting, Git

+ Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS

+ CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins

+ Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general

The likely salary range for this position is $119,850 - $162,150. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
