The Opportunity

Team CACI has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Crypto Engineer. You will support an Intelligence Community customer's wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN) and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. Focus will be on preforming COMSEC, cryptologic duties to include operation and maintenance of encryption devices. Experience in complex telecommunications applications involving all phases of telecommunications network design, implementation, and analysis. Demonstrated knowledge in communications security for monitoring, operating and maintaining cryptographic devices. Performs research, requirements analysis, design, installation, troubleshooting, and support of local- and wide-area network hardware, software and applications. Can install and configure WAN and LAN hardware to include cryptographic, voice, video, and data cable systems.

Responsibilities

+ Preform Account Management, Custodian Duties and Encryption device configurations and maintenance.

+ Maintain multiple Secure Communication devices across the Enterprise.

+ Will have experience with the following encryption devices: - General Dynamics family: KG175D, KG175F, KG175G and KG175X - L-3 Family: KG245A and KG245X - Viasat Family: KG250, KG250X, KG255X and KG142

+ Will have experience with the following encryption device managers: - General Dynamics GEM ONE - L-3 Common HAIPE Manager (CHM) - VIASAT VINE

+ System maintenance, monitoring and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve network media and components.

+ Monitor health and performance of the communications security services including hardware and management software.

Qualifications

_Required:_

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

+ DOD 8570 IAT2 level certification (Security +)

+ Security Clearance: active TS/SCI, eligibility to take and pass a CI polygraph.

+ Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance.

+ Ability to work weekends and evening hours as needed.

+ Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations

+ Proficient is MS Office suite - Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

+ ITIL v3 Foundations

+ ISC2 CISSP

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
