Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
โข Provide service to manufacturing lines,
โข Supply manufacturing work centers with material and transport finished good to inventory/ shipping
โข Actively engage with production supervisors to pre-plan needs and delivery.
โข Actively engage in safety oversight and monitoring whilst observing all safety rules, regulations, and signage.
โข Use forklift to lift up to 5,000lb items.
โข Take finished material to next process.
โข Assist operators/assistants
โข Store stock tagged material in correct location.
โข Preoperational inspection of lift trucks.
โข Assist operators/assistants with scrap and transporting to the proper area.
โข Keep work areas as neat and clean as possible.
โข Work within a team, communication skills essential.
โข Previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
Experience Requirements
Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
โข 1-10 years of recent warehouse experience.
โข Knowledge of WMS, printing ticket orders, MS office suite, email, internet navigation..
โข Recent forklift experience required.
โข Be willing to complete a criminal background check.
โข Ability to take and PASS pre-employment drug screen test.
โข Strong work ethic โ dedicated to getting the job done.
โข Interest in growing with Grimco โ potential overtime hours, and supervisory duties in the future.
โข Reliable transportation to and from work is a must.
Physical Demands
โข Requires the ability to lift, push, pull and carry tools and warehouse materials weighing 50+ pounds on a frequent basis.
โข Requires prolonged standing or walking and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.
โข Requires the ability to climb ladders to pick or put away products.
โข Requires a full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines (i.e., forklift).
