Position Summary

The Manager, Global Marketing Communications Batteries & Lighting leads communications strategy, creative development and integrated media planning for Energizer Holdings Inc.'s Batteries & Lighting portfolio. The role is responsible for translating global brand strategies, consumer insights and business priorities into communications plans that build brand preference, strengthen awareness and drive conversion.

The Manager serves as the primary communications lead across Brand, Activation, Media, Digital Commerce and Global Marketing teams, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and agency partners to align communications, creative and media investments to business priorities and growth objectives.

Responsibilities

+ Brand Strategy & Stewardship: Develop communications strategies grounded in consumer insights, brand health metrics, category trends and competitive intelligence to strengthen brand equity and preference and drive consistent execution across brands and markets.

+ Integrated Communications Planning: Lead the development and execution of integrated communications plans across paid, owned, digital and ecommerce channels. Translate brand strategies into communications programs that drive business results.

+ Creative Development & Content Strategy: Lead creative development and content strategy from brief to launch across media, digital commerce and owned channels that strengthen brand equity, drive engagement and conversion and support business growth.

+ Media Strategy: Partner with media teams and agency partners to develop integrated media strategies that support business and brand objectives. Provide guidance on audience strategy, channel selection, investment priorities, campaign planning, and measurement approaches while monitoring performance and leveraging insights to optimize media effectiveness and ROI.

+ Product & Portfolio Communications: Develop and execute communications strategies that support the batteries portfolio, product news, seasonal campaigns, and retailer initiatives. Lead messaging development and content creation and ensure consistent execution across global markets.

+ Performance Measurement & Insights: Analyze campaign performance, media effectiveness, brand health metrics, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for optimizations and inform future communications strategies.

+ Social & Digital Communications: Lead social, influencer, digital and owned-channel communications strategies that strengthen awareness, consideration and conversion. Guide channel strategy, influencer partnerships and social-first campaign development across established and emerging digital platforms.

+ Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Brand, Media, Digital Commerce, Consumer Insights and North America and Global Activation Marketing teams to translate brand strategies and consumer insights into effective marketing programs and communications plans.

+ Agency Management: Serve as the primary communications lead for agency partners, setting strategic direction, shaping integrated communications plans and developing briefs that translate brand, business and consumer objectives into effective marketing strategies. Provide oversight of agency scope, budgets, timelines, deliverables and performance.

+ Budget Management: Manage budgets and agency scopes, tracking spend against approved plans and ensuring resources are deployed efficiently to support business priorities and marketing objectives.

+ Team Leadership and Development: Manage and develop direct reports, establishing clear priorities, accountability and development opportunities.

What we are looking for

+ 5+ years of brand management or integrated marketing experience supporting consumer brands

+ Experience leading integrated marketing programs across creative, media and communications channels

+ Proven ability to translate business objectives, consumer insights and brand strategy into effective marketing plans and programs

+ Previous people management or team leadership experience preferred

+ St. Louis, MO area required

Total Rewards Package

The salary range for this position is USD $109,000.00/Yr. - USD $135,000.00/Yr.

Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
