Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, experienced Geospatial Analyst to join our team supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's (NGA's) Aeronautical Navigation Office's Vertical Obstructions branch. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to understand intelligence issues, military affairs and use GIS to develop intelligence reports and products to represent key intelligence questions and analysis. Responsibilities include extracting and/or acquiring geospatial information, derivative information and multi-INT data for analysis, visualization and modeling. Intelligence reports, graphics and briefing will be used to communicate the analysis rendered.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Required Skills:

+ 5 years of GEOINT experience or degree/experience equivalent.

+ Functional knowledge of ArcGIS Pro.

+ Demonstrated experience of using ArcGIS 10.x for contributing to and maintaining an instance of ArcServer.

+ Functional knowledge of SOCET GXP

+ Working/functional knowledge of scripting and programm6ing languages such as Python and Java with the ability to apply these skills to geospatial models and solutions.

+ Working/functional knowledge of data science techniques for geospatial analysis.

+ Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design principles as they relate to incorporating a map or cartographic visualization into an infographic or tabloid.

+ Demonstrated application of Adobe Illustrator for the purposes of incorporating a map or cartographic visualization into an infographic or tabloid.

+ Knowledge of other GIS applications such as ArcGIS Earth and QGIS.

+ Ability to create and incorporate imagery into geospatial intelligence products

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Desired Skills:

+ GPC Certified.

+ Relevant experience in the Geospatial Analysis field in the last year.

+ Relevant experience in complex vector network and raster surface analysis.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72150 - $122655

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
