What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, building perimeter, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain awareness of activity in public and restricted areas.

+ Document incidents, patrols, and security-related observations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

+ A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
