As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital in Independence, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Day Time

Wed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other guests by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, providing directions and assistance to patients and visitors as needed.

+ Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.

+ Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
