About the Role Our client, an energy efficiency program provider, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to work from home supporting customers in utility energy efficiency programs. You'll mostly make outbound calls, with some inbound calls and email support, to schedule appointments, answer questions, and help customers take part in programs they qualify for.

What You'll Do

+ Make outbound calls to schedule appointments, complete surveys, and promote energy efficiency programs to qualifying customers

+ Answer inbound calls and emails, and log all customer interactions

+ Resolve customer questions and complaints about products, services, billing, and program applications

+ Give customers accurate, timely updates on application and rebate check status

+ Follow up on customer inquiries that aren't resolved right away

+ Enter and maintain customer information in the database

+ Provide inside support to program managers, engineers, and energy advisors as needed

What You Bring

+ 12 years of customer service experience

+ Call center experience

+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong data entry skills

+ Detail-oriented and organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Availability for evenings and weekends as needed

Nice to Have

+ Bilingual in English and Spanish

+ Associate degree

+ Utilities or technical support experience

Work Environment Work from home in a metrics-driven role. Performance is measured on quality and efficiency, with about 80100 calls per day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
