How you'll make an impact in this role
+ Prepare annual Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare hospital cost reports and reply to audit requests
+ Prepare annual Medicaid DSH and UC funding applications and audits
+ Prepare Uncompensated Trauma Care funding applications
+ Complete monthly analysis for our third party settlements related to Medicare and Medicaid.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences:
+ Minimum of 5 years of Medicare hospital cost reporting experience in an acute care hospital or health system setting
+ Demonstrated familiarity with Graduate Medical Education (GME) / Indirect Medical Education (IME), Organ Acquisition reimbursement, Wage Index (WI), and Occupational Mix Survey (OMS) requirements.
