Chemical Processing Line Operator 2nd shift, Shift Premium included
Summary
We are looking for Chemical Processing Line Operators to apply chemical coating to hardware and parts in accordance with work instructions while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role makes a huge difference in increasing productivity and efficiency of Seyer Industries.

Responsibilities
Basic Functions and Scope of Responsibilities:
• Within the framework of Seyer Industries, Inc. policies and procedures, the Processing Line
Operator position will have the authority and responsibility to accomplish the duties as
described below. The mission of this position is to provide service to all areas while striving
to improve processes of the company.
Principle Responsibilities:
• Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer
invoked quality requirements (AS9100, and NADCAP for example).
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements;
troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Aids in maintaining an audit and customer ready facility 100% of the time.
• Apply chemical coating to hardware in accordance with work instructions, and process
route sheet.
• Clean/Strip processing racks as necessary.
• Process test panels as required.
• Assess part configuration to identify appropriate racking method.
• Remove processed hardware using good handling practices, and per the work instructions,
and process route sheet.
• Insure processing line is optimized, and appropriate carts are in place.
• Aid other departments as nessessary.. (i.e. Chemical Laboratory, Masking, and Maintenance)
• Aid in the development of processing recipes.
• Contribute to Wastewater Treatment processing
Experience Requirements
What We Are Looking For
Vocational School or some college courses (or equivelent experience)
Additional Information: Prior metal finishing is a plus, but not required.
List specific examples of degree(s), area(s) of study, and/or license(s), etc.

Physical Surroundings (e.g. indoor/outdoor): Indoor climate-controlled environment
Adverse Working Environment: Working around hazardous chemicals, and utilizing appropriate PPE when doing so.
Physical Effort: Required to lift less then 50lbs. Most work to be done in a standing or walking
position.
