Responsibilities
What You Will Do
- Develop new and optimize existing CMM programs using PC-DMIS software for various CMMs, complying with internal programming requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications as needed to ensure CMM programs measure and record all necessary implicit and explicit customer requirements.
- Responsible for CMM program configuration management, ensuring that CMM programs are revised as necessary to support internal requests and customer changes.
- Promptly respond to CMM troubleshooting requests such as machine crashes to minimize downtime.
- Assist Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, Production, and other key areas with special projects as assigned.
- Maintain excellent communications and working relationships with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, and Production.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of Seyer's Quality Management System in alignment with aerospace industry standards (AS9100).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and conform to Seyer Industries Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
