If so, GCG is currently growing a specialized team focused on supporting data center customers and partners as they plan, source, and deploy critical infrastructure! To support those efforts,we're seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Account Manager .

In this role, you will harness your exceptional communication skills and sales expertise to proactively build lasting business relationships with key decision makers and suppliers in the Data Center Infrastructure market!

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team that is at the forefront of expanding our presence in the Data Center market, ensuring we are a trusted partner and distributor of choice for our customers.

*This role offers a remote work arrangement with a strong preference for candidates in the Central Time Zone.

What you'll do

+ Develop in-depth familiarity with GCG Data Center solutions to provide best-in-class customer support and educate customers aboutproducts, applications, pricing, and availability

+ Understand the market to support strategic growth plans, ensuring that annual goals are achieved

+ Nurture relationships with GCG customers and suppliers to increase sales revenue as product offerings continue to expand

+ Manage purchasing and coordination specifically for drop-ship orders from suppliers, ensuring that customers and stakeholders receive frequent order / shipment status updates

+ Research and prospect for new business leads and expanded business opportunities within targeted markets utilizing a consultative sales approach that facilitates return business

+ Create and execute a plan to hit year over year revenue growth targets

+ Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with customers and vendors as the book of business steadily grows

+ Demonstrate all aspects of the sales process including cold calling and prospecting, handling objections, closing, and follow-up

What you'll bring

+ Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, engineering, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

+ Demonstrated track record of success with 5 years of business-to-business inside sales experience, preferably within the Data Center space

+ Exemplary written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment

+ Strong customer service orientation and follow-up skills with the ability actively pursue new business opportunities

+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Teams, Outlook, and Excel

+ Previous experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM system

+ Previous experience with Oracle or comparable ERP system
